The Mad Dancers Band
Don Bonzi
Guitarist, song writer, studio musician, studio engineer and producer, collaborated on music projects live and in studio with Rhino Reinhardt, Lee Dorman, Bobby Caldwell, also studied guitar with Robert Fripp . Today Don is in current projects with Bobby Caldwell and Captain Beyond, and several other projects with many accomplished musicians and artists.
Curt Johnsen
Accomplished classical pianist, song writer, composer, videographer, innovative keyboardist able to drive all types of music, from progressive rock to jazz fusion Curt delivers the full circle of music as an art form. Today after working for many years with the Rockford Symphony Curt is retiring from the Symphony and devoting much more of his time to making new music with some brilliant solo projects.
Ted Iverson
Drums, percussion, musician who inspires rhythmic patterns, his hard hitting influence of rock and jazz fusion feel creates a foundation that is solid yet free, once described as a drummer who is knocking at the door, may I add, you better open it or he may beat it down. Today still deeply into music Ted is happy to keep a low profile as the world turns.
Mike Duclon
Musician, Song writer, Artist, Luthier, Violin Maker.
In his early days with Mad Dancers he played Bass guitar and collaborated as a song writer in the band,
later he also would play violin in some of our live shows... Today Mike spends free time making violins and violas
and working on some solo recording projects.
We would also like to mention several special people who were a part of the Mad Dancers Band
Bruce Farnham
R.I.P. honorary member as guest vocalist on Starline Expressway... He was not of this world
and was taken away at a very early age. A true spirit of a time that was.
John Berry
honorary member, as a brilliant creative artist for the band, and inspirational motivator that added
invisible color to the music.
Jack Barry
Our sound engineer and lead roadie. Came to every gig and pretty much made sure all the stuff behind the scenes was set up and working.
